CASH PAYING PATIENTS:
We especially welcome cash paying patients, those with high deductibles and who have "out of network" benefits. As it becomes increasingly difficult to deal productively with managed care PPOs, we will gradually move to eliminate participating with the least efficient insurance companies.
Our fees are very reasonable, and an "up-front, drive out" price for procedures done in our office surgery includes 3 months of postoperative care. Fees are collected in full, prior to the procedure.
The charge for a colonoscopy in the office surgery is $900. If a polypectomy /biopsy is done, it will be $1250. This will include the fee for the anesthesiologist and pathologist. The fee for a polypectomy/biopsy will be collected initially and the balance refunded if a polypectomy/biopsy is not done.
The charge for an anorectal surgery such as hemorrhoidectomy, fistula/fissure repair etc. in the office surgery is $2000 - $2500 depending on the procedure. This will include the fee for the anesthesiologist and pathologist and post operative care for 3 months.
The charge for a groin or umbilical hernia repair (with mesh) in the office surgery is $3500. Double hernia repair will cost $5000. This will include the fee for the anesthesiologist and postoperative care for 3 months.
